I managed to get the book through MelCat, a library service in MI that lets us borrow from colleges.

This large book is like a textbook, in that many of the details are very scientific, complete with numerous drawings and photographs. Some of it went over my head, but what came through very clearly was how momentous this occasion was. Paricutin par-EE-koo-teen was a village 3 km NW of the new volcano, which was named in its honor.
